CCAGW PAC Endorses California House Candidates

Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsement of Reps. Doug LaMalfa (R-Calif.) and Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) for re-election and former Rep. Darrell Issa (R) for election to the U.S. House of Representatives.

CCAGW PAC based its endorsements of the two incumbents on their lifetime ratings in CCAGW’s 2019 Congressional Ratings, and its endorsement of Rep. Issa on his lifetime rating in CCAGW’s 2018 Congressional Ratings.

Rep. LaMalfa’s lifetime rating is 91 percent, Rep. McClintock’s lifetime rating is 98 percent, and former Rep. Issa’s lifetime rating is 81 percent.  They are all lifetime “Taxpayer Heroes,” while Rep. McClintock has been named a “Taxpayer Super Hero” with a perfect 100 percent rating three times, in 2015, 2018, and 2019.

“During their tenures in the House, Reps. LaMalfa and McClintock and former Rep. Issa have all been strong and reliable votes to curb government waste and reform Washington,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz.  “On top of their impressive voting records, they worked with their colleagues to enact historic tax cuts, support deregulation, and help ignite America’s economic boom.  I urge their constituents to elect them to Congress.”

CCAGW PAC is affiliated with the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, a 501(c)(4) organization.  CCAGW PAC’s mission is to support political candidates who will fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government and represent the best interests of taxpayers.
