CCAGW PAC Endorses Colorado Candidates

Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsement of four Colorado candidates:  Reps. Ken Buck (R-Colo.), Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.), and Mike Coffman (R-Colo.) for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives, and candidate Darryl Glenn for election to the U.S. Senate.

CCAGW PAC based its endorsements on each candidate’s lifetime score as listed in CCAGW’s 2015 Congressional Ratings.

The members’ lifetime ratings are as follows: Rep. Buck, 90 percent; Rep. Lamborn, 95 percent; and Rep. Coffman, 90 percent.

Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Darryl Glenn is challenging Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.).  CCAGW PAC based its endorsement of Lt. Col. Glenn on his answers to the CCAGW PAC 2016 Candidate Questionnaire, which were consistent with the organization’s principles and in harmony with CCAGW PAC’s support for fiscal restraint and opposition to costly government mandates and regulations.  The candidate questionnaire can be found online at www.ccagwpac.org/questionnaire.  Sen. Bennett holds a dismal lifetime rating of just 17 percent.

“During their tenures in the House, these three members of Congress have served the citizens of Colorado with great distinction,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz. “On top of their prestigious voting records, they worked with their colleagues to restrain the growth of federal spending and to help make government more accountable and transparent to taxpayers.”

“Their abiding commitment to fiscal conservatism is one of the many reasons that I urge Coloradans to vote for Reps. Buck, Lamborn, and Coffman on November 8, so that they can continue to hold the line on Washington’s big-spending agenda, and for Lt. Col. Glenn, so that he may join these distinguished public servants in the fight to restore accountability and fiscal discipline to the nation’s capital,” concluded Schatz.

CCAGW PAC is affiliated with the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, a 501(c)(4) organization.  CCAGW PAC’s mission is to support political candidates who will fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government and represent the best interests of taxpayers.
