CCAGW PAC Endorses Five North Carolina House Candidates and Sen. Thom Tillis

Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsement for Reps. Ted Budd (R-N.C.), Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), Richard Hudson (R-N.C.), Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.), and David Rouzer (R-N.C.) for re-election to the House of Representatives, and Sen. Thom Tillis for re-election to the Senate.

CCAGW PAC based its endorsements on the candidates’ lifetime score in CCAGW’s 2019 Congressional Ratings.

Hudson was a “Taxpayer Super Hero” in 2019 with a perfect 100 percent rating.  Reps. McHenry and Foxx both have a lifetime rating of 89 percent.  Sen. Tillis has a lifetime rating of 82 percent and is a lifetime “Taxpayer Hero.”

“During their tenures in Congress, Sen. Tillis and Reps. Budd, Foxx, Hudson, McHenry and Rouzer have been strong and reliable votes to curb government waste and reform Washington,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz.  “On top of their impressive voting records, they worked with their colleagues to enact and retain historic tax cuts, support deregulation, and help ignite America’s economic boom.  I urge North Carolinians to re-elect Sen. Tillis to the Senate and Reps. Budd, Foxx, Hudson, McHenry and Rouzer to the House of Representatives.”
