CCAGW PAC Endorses Rep. Jason Chaffetz

Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsement of Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.  With a lifetime score of 94 percent, Rep. Chaffetz earned the title of “Taxpayer Hero,” a status he has achieved every year of his tenure in Congress. CCAGW PAC bases its endorsements on a candidate’s lifetime score as listed in CCAGW’s2013 Congressional Ratings. Each candidate endorsed is a “Taxpayer Hero” with a lifetime rating of 80 percent or greater.

“During his tenure, Rep. Chaffetz has served the citizens of Utah with great distinction and has evinced an abiding commitment to fiscal conservatism,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz. “On top of his prestigious voting record, he has worked with his colleagues to restrain the growth of federal spending and help make government more accountable and transparent to taxpayers.”

“Rep. Chaffetz’s commitment to fiscal common sense and government accountability is one of the many reasons that I urge voters in Utah’s 3rd Congressional District to vote for him on November 4 so he can return to Washington, D.C. and continue to protect the interests of both his constituents and all Americans,” concluded Schatz.

CCAGW PAC is affiliated with the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, a 501(c)(4) organization. CCAGW PAC’s mission is to support political candidates who will fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government and represent the best interests of taxpayers.
