CCAGW PAC Endorses Rep. Ted Budd for Senate and Six North Carolina House Candidates

Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsement for Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) for U.S. Senate, and Reps. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.), Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), Richard Hudson (R-N.C.), Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.), Greg Murphy (R-N.C.), and David Rouzer (R-N.C.) for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.

CCAGW PAC based its endorsements on the candidates’ lifetime score in CCAGW’s 2021 Congressional Ratings.

Rep. Budd has a lifetime rating of 99 percent, making him a lifetime “Taxpayer Hero,” and he was a “Taxpayer Super Hero” with a perfect 100 percent rating in 2021, making it the third time he has earned that score.  Rep. Bishop has a lifetime rating of 98 percent, Rep. Foxx has a lifetime rating of 90 percent, Rep. Hudson has a lifetime rating of 95 percent, Rep. McHenry has a lifetime rating of 90 percent, Rep. Murphy has a lifetime rating of 99 percent, and Rep. Rouzer has a lifetime rating of 96 percent, making them all a lifetime “Taxpayer Hero.”  Reps. Foxx, Hudson, McHenry, Murphy, and Rouzer all earned the title of “Taxpayer Super Hero” in 2021 with a perfect 100 percent rating.  

“During their tenures in Congress, Reps. Budd, Bishop, Foxx, Hudson, McHenry, Murphy, and Rouzer have been strong and reliable votes to curb government waste and reform Washington,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz, “On top of their impressive voting records, they fought for increased accountability and transparency while opposing efforts to massively increase federal spending and adopt burdensome new regulations.  I urge all North Carolinians to elect Rep. Budd to the U.S. Senate the constituents of the six representatives to re-elect them to the U.S. House of Representatives.”
