CCAGW PAC Endorses Sen. Deb Fischer, Rep. Don Bacon

Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsement of Sen. Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) for re-election to the U.S. Senate and Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.

CCAGW PAC based its endorsements of incumbents on a candidate’s lifetime score as listed in CCAGW’s 2017 Congressional Ratings.

Sen. Fischer has earned an 89 percent lifetime rating in the CCAGW Congressional Ratings since she was first elected in 2012, making her a “Taxpayer Hero.”

Rep. Bacon earned an 88 percent lifetime rating in his first year in Congress, making him a “Taxpayer Hero” as well.

“During her tenure in the U.S. Senate, Sen. Deb Fischer has proven herself as a leader in the fight to make government more accountable and transparent to taxpayers,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz.  “From her votes to restrain the growth of federal spending, to her tenacious support for cutting harmful regulations, she has served Nebraskans with distinction.  I urge Nebraska voters to re-elect her on November 6.”

“During his first year in Congress, Rep. Don Bacon has been strong and reliable vote to curb government waste and reform Washington,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz. “He worked with his colleagues to enact historic tax cuts, support deregulation, and help ignite America’s economic boom.  I urge Nebraskans to re-elect him to Congress.”

CCAGW PAC is affiliated with the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, a 501(c)(4) organization.  CCAGW PAC’s mission is to support political candidates who will fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government and represent the best interests of taxpayers.
