Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsement of Reps. Rick Allen (R-Ga.), Scott Austin (R-Ga.), Buddy Carter (R-Ga.), Drew Ferguson (R-Ga.), Jody Hice (R-Ga.), and Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), for re-election, and Rich McCormick for election to the U.S. House of Representatives.
CCAGW PAC based its endorsements of incumbents on a candidate’s lifetime score as listed in CCAGW’s 2019 Congressional Ratings. For challengers, the endorsements are based on answers to the CCAGW PAC questionnaire.
Rep. Loudermilk’s lifetime rating is 98 percent; Rep. Hice’s lifetime rating is 97 percent; Rep. Allen’s lifetime rating is 95 percent; Rep. Carter’s lifetime rating is 94 percent; Rep. Ferguson’s lifetime rating is 93 percent, and Rep. Austin’s lifetime rating is 90 percent. Each has each earned the title of “Taxpayer Hero.” Reps. Carter and Loudermilk had a perfect 100 percent rating in 2019 and 2015, respectively, earning both a “Taxpayer Super Hero” award. Rich McCormick’s answers to the CCAGW PAC questionnaire qualified him for endorsement.
“During their tenures in the House, Reps. Allen, Austin, Carter, Ferguson, Hice, and Loudermilk have all been strong and reliable votes to curb government waste and reform Washington, and Rich McCormick would be another strong voice for taxpayers,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz. “On top of the members’ impressive voting records, they worked with their colleagues to enact historic tax cuts, support deregulation, and help ignite America’s economic boom. I urge their constituents to re-elect them to Congress and for voters in Rich McCormick’s district to elect him to Congress.”
CCAGW PAC is affiliated with the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, a 501(c)(4) organization. CCAGW PAC’s mission is to support political candidates who will fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government and represent the best interests of taxpayers.
